ABOUT US
Who are we?
At the RACA Association, we aim to improve the lives of stray and abandoned felines in our community. While we don’t have a physical shelter (yet!) and operate with limited resources, our unwavering commitment to the well-being of these vulnerable animals drives us.
We are a passionate group of volunteers and animal advocates dedicated to making a difference in the lives of stray cats. Founded in 2022, our organization has been working tirelessly to address the needs of stray cats and raise awareness about their plight.
But.. what we do?
Feeding Animal Colonies
We are committed to providing food and care for existing animal colonies in the community. These colonies often consist of feral cats and require regular sustenance.
Rescue and Rehabilitation
In addition, we rescue stray cats from the streets, provide them with medical care, and find them temporary foster homes while working towards permanent placements.
Spaying and Neutering
To actively support spaying and neutering initiatives, we aim to control the stray cat population and prevent further suffering.
Adoptions
We actively seek loving homes for the cats in our care, ensuring that they find permanent, caring families.
Education and Awareness
Finally, we believe that raising awareness and educating the community is fundamental. We promote responsible pet ownership, humane treatment of animals, and the significance of supporting organizations like ours.
